Two of the doctors picked Alexia up and carried her into the processing room of the ward and locked the door.

Dr. Mason didn't say a word as she pulled Alexia over to the scale and weighed and measured her. They had to start a fresh file on her. She forced Alexia back to the bed. "Here's the deal, whether you like it or not, I have to get a full work up on you, no ifs ands or buts about it," Dr. Mason said. "We can do it your way and you can fight me and I'll keep fighting back, or you can behave and I can get done quickly and tell you how to get the hell outta here, either way, this will be done."
