Zander sighed as he sat in the waiting room, his boss had made him come in because he said Zander looked sick and he didn't want him to get his partner sick.

"I don't know yet goofball," Hannah said. She could tell just by the look of Zander that he was running a fever so she went straight for her penlight and tongue depressor. "Open wide," said Hannah. "Say ahhhhh."

Samantha sighed. Not him too, not this. With his swollen and sensitive lymph nodes in his neck already, the swelling from strep would be excruciating for him. She leaned up and placed her hand on his cheek, then his forehead. "Oh darlin' you're burnin' up," Samantha drawled worriedly.
