Samantha sighed. She knew she needed to get a swab on him, but with his lymph nodes swollen the way they were it could be incredibly painful for him. She grabbed the swab. "I'm not gonna lie baby, this might hurt," Samantha said, swab resting at the front of his mouth. "But I need you stay still." she said before she started.

Samantha sighed when she sent the culture off for testing. She climbed into the bed and situated herself in Carter's lap, resting her head on his chest. "I know that hurt honey," Samantha said softly, taking his hand and intertwining their fingers. "I'm sorry."
